Seascape Collection, a collection of exceptional places to stay across Greece.
We believe the place you sleep can change a whole holiday, from start to finish. So we set out to gather the places we ourselves would want to wake up in every morning of our own holiday.
It all began with a dream of a house by the sea
Hi, we're Shay and Gilad, and the story of Seascape began long before we knew that would be its name.
In 2020 we were a young couple with a slightly crazy dream: to find a small house on the water in Greece and make it ours. We didn't know where. We didn't know the process, and we certainly didn't know how you renovate a house in another country. But we decided to try.
We got on a plane, rented a car and simply started looking. For months we drove around Greece. We went from village to village, took roads without always knowing where they led, saw dozens of houses and met a lot of people along the way.
Then we reached south Corfu.
There, right at the water's edge, we found an old, traditional Greek house. It was a long way from the house we had pictured. But from the moment we walked in, something felt right. Maybe it was the sea right outside the door. Maybe the quiet. Maybe just the feeling that we had found something special.
We looked at each other and knew. This was the house.
We bought it and set out on a journey without really knowing how it would end. For a year and a half we renovated and built, much of it with our own hands. We learned as we went, made mistakes, changed plans, took apart things we had already built and started again. There were wonderful moments, and there were moments when we asked ourselves why on earth we had got into this. But slowly, out of the old house we had fallen for, the house we had imagined began to appear, and in the end it became our home on the sea.
Somewhere along the way, something else happened: we fell in love with Greece. Not only with the beaches and the blue water. With the people. With meals that last for hours. With the small villages, the neighbour who stops to say hello, the taverna in no hurry to bring the bill, and a pace that reminds us now and then that not everything in life has to happen fast.
Over the years we kept travelling and discovering more of Greece. We met local people who became friends, found places we would never have reached by chance, and learned the small differences that make every island and every area something else entirely. And we found that a good holiday is much more than the place you sleep. It is the beach you came across on the way, the taverna you went back to three times, the people you met, and the moment you suddenly stop looking at the clock.
Since then we have hosted people from all over the world in our house in Corfu. At the same time, people who knew us and the way we like to travel started asking us for recommendations. Where should we stay? Which island should we choose? Which villa is really worth the price? Where would you go?
At first they were friends. Then friends of friends. Little by little we found ourselves helping dozens, then hundreds of people find the right place for their holiday, and at some point we realised this was much more than a hobby.
That is how Seascape Collection was born. Not because we wanted to build another site with thousands of places to stay. Exactly the opposite. We wanted to take everything we had learned along the way and make the choice a little simpler: to go through the endless options and choose only the villas and hotels we would want to stay in ourselves. And beside the places, to share the Greece we know: the beaches, the restaurants, the villages and the small things we learned on the way.
A few years have passed since we first walked into that old house in Corfu. A lot has changed since. But in a way we are still doing exactly the same thing: travelling around Greece, opening one more door, looking around and asking ourselves one question: would we want to wake up here in the morning?
Not every place joins Seascape Collection
Behind every place in the collection there is a selection process. We go through countless villas and hotels and look beyond the first photo: at the location, the standard, how the place is laid out, the surroundings, how well it is kept and the small details that make the difference between a place that looks good on a screen and a place where a holiday is a real pleasure.
Only the places that meet the standards we set go further. But even after every check, one test remains that no list can hold: would we want to wake up here in the morning? If the answer is yes, the place can become part of Seascape Collection.
Seascape Pick
Within the collection there are places we love above the rest, and they carry the Seascape Pick mark. There is no score or checklist behind it, only one sentence: if we had to choose for ourselves, we would look here first.

How booking works
Today you book through us by WhatsApp, email, phone or the request form on a property page. Tell us the place and the dates, and we check the price and availability with the property, and before any payment we give you in writing the price, the cancellation policy and all the terms.
