Accessibility statement

At Seascape Collection we want everyone looking for a holiday in Greece to use this site with ease, people with disabilities included. This statement explains what we have done to make the site accessible, what is not yet fully accessible, and how to reach us.

Accessibility level

The site is built to meet Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and the Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the WCAG guidelines. We build the site to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which covers the standard's requirements.

The site has not yet been audited by an outside accessibility expert. We run automated checks on every type of page and have also gone through it by hand. If you come across a problem, please write to our accessibility coordinator, whose details are below.

What we have done

  • The site works with a keyboard, except where noted below, and the element in focus is clearly marked.
  • The "Skip to main content" link is the first element on every page.
  • Pages are structured with headings and landmarks, so a screen reader can move through them.
  • We write a text alternative for every image on the site, in Hebrew and in English.
  • We check that text contrast meets the requirements, except where noted below.
  • Every form field has a label, and errors appear beside the field and are announced to screen readers too.
  • A link that opens in a new tab says so before you follow it.
  • The site respects your device's reduced motion setting, and moving content stops when the mouse or the focus is on it.
  • Every map has a text alternative on the same page.
  • The site reads right to left in Hebrew and left to right in English.

What is not yet fully accessible

We keep testing and improving the site. These are the gaps we know of today:

  • In the calendar for choosing dates, the nights between arrival and departure are marked only by a light grey background, at low contrast. The arrival and departure dates themselves are clearly marked, and screen readers announce them.
  • With text enlarged to 200%, at some screen widths the top menu bar can overflow the screen.
  • The maps themselves are limited with a keyboard and a screen reader. What they show is also given in text on the same page.
  • In a property's photo gallery, every thumbnail is its own keyboard stop, so leaving the gallery with Tab takes many presses. The Escape key closes the gallery and puts the focus back where it was.
  • Some of the services we link to or include, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, the Turnstile check on our forms and the CookieYes cookie consent banner, are run by third parties, and their accessibility is not fully in our control.

Accessibility of the properties

We do not run the villas and hotels, and their physical accessibility differs from one property to the next. If you need an adjustment, such as step-free access, a ground-floor room or an accessible shower, write to us before you book, and we will check with the property and give you its answer in writing.

How to report a problem

Have you met an accessibility problem on the site, or do you need information in another accessible form? We would be glad to hear from you and help. It helps to tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser or assistive technology you used. We will get back to you as soon as we can.
