Terms of use and booking
In short: we help you find a villa or a boutique hotel in Greece, check the price and availability with the property, and arrange the booking. The stay itself is provided by the owner or the hotel operator. Before any payment we tell you in writing the price, who you pay, the property's rules and its cancellation policy. These terms cover the use of this site and any booking made through us.
Who we are
The site is run by Seascape Collection ("we", "us").
You can reach us by email at contact@seascapecollection.co.il, or by the phone and WhatsApp number shown at the foot of every page.
What we do, and who provides the stay
We present properties we have chosen, answer questions, check price and availability with the property, and arrange the booking and the service around it. Each property is run by its owner or hotel operator ("the property"), which is responsible for the stay itself and the services provided there. We do not run the properties.
How booking works today
- Today you book through us by WhatsApp, email, phone or the request form on a property page. Online booking and payment are not yet offered on the site, and we will update these terms before they are.
- A request, a message or an enquiry is not a booking. A booking takes effect only once the property has accepted it and we have sent you a written booking confirmation.
- Before you pay, we tell you in writing the total price and what it includes, who you pay and how, any charges collected at the property, the property's rules and its cancellation policy. The same details appear in the booking confirmation.
Prices and payment
- Prices on the site are in euros, and so is payment. Your bank or card issuer may charge a conversion fee or use its own rate; these are outside our control.
- A "from" price on the site is a starting price for guidance. The binding price is the one we give you in writing for your dates and your party.
- Local tourist taxes, a damage deposit or extras not included in the price may be collected at the property, if they were disclosed to you before payment. A damage deposit is held by the property under its rules.
- An obvious error in a price or a description is not binding. If we find such an error after confirming a booking, we will tell you, and you can choose between the corrected terms and cancelling at no cost.
Cancellations, changes and no-shows
- Each property has its own cancellation policy. It is given to you in writing before payment and appears in the booking confirmation, so please read it before you confirm.
- Send a cancellation or a change request to us in writing, by email or WhatsApp, and we confirm every cancellation in writing. A change depends on the property agreeing and may change the price and the cancellation terms.
- A no-show, or leaving early, is handled under the property's cancellation policy.
- A refund, where one is due, follows the cancellation policy you were given and the law, and goes to the original payment method where possible.
- Where the law gives you a right to cancel a transaction, that right applies, and nothing here takes away from it. More on the cancellation policy page.
If the property cannot host you
If a property tells us it cannot honour a confirmed booking, we will let you know straight away and try to offer an alternative. You do not have to accept an alternative or a different price. If you do not accept one, the refund of what you paid for the stay is handled as the law provides, and no cancellation fee will be charged.
The lead booker and guests
- Only people aged 18 or over may book. Whoever books for a group confirms they may do so, and is responsible for making sure the guests know these terms and the property's rules.
- Please give accurate details, including the number of guests and the children's ages, and keep to the property's occupancy limit, check-in and check-out times and safety rules.
- Events, smoking and pets are allowed only where the property's rules allow them or the property has agreed in writing. Special requests, such as pool heating, baby equipment or accessibility arrangements, are guaranteed only once confirmed in writing.
- The lead booker is responsible, as the law provides, for damage caused by them or their guests.
Travel documents, insurance and health
A valid passport, visas, the entry requirements of Greece and the European Union, and health requirements are your responsibility. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical care and baggage, from the day you book.
Problems during your stay, and complaints
- For an urgent problem at the property, contact the property straight away using the details in your booking confirmation. If there is no answer or the problem continues, contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to help.
- Please report anything that is not as described as soon as you can, during your stay if possible and with reasonable evidence, so that it can be checked and put right. Reporting does not take away any right the law gives you.
- You can send us a complaint in writing at any time. We will confirm that we received it and reply as soon as we can, and within 30 days at the latest.
Events beyond anyone's control
A cancelled flight, travel restrictions, a security situation, the weather or another event beyond the control of either side does not by itself change the property's cancellation policy. In such a case we will ask the property for flexibility and help as far as we can, but any exception to its policy depends on its agreement, except for a right the law gives you.
Information on the site
Photos, descriptions, rules, prices and availability come partly from the properties and are partly written by us. We work to keep them accurate, but details change, and before payment we tell you any material information we know of. A property's display name on the site may differ from its trading name.
Using the site
- The content of the site, its texts, photos and design, belongs to us or to those who allowed us to use it. Please do not copy it or use it commercially without written permission.
- Do not run automated tools that collect data from the site, and do not try to disrupt its operation or its security.
- Links to other services, such as WhatsApp, Instagram or maps, are subject to those services' own terms.
Responsibility
The property is responsible for the stay and the services it actually provides. We are responsible for our own service: the information we give, arranging the booking and what we have committed to you. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing here limits any liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Privacy
How we collect and keep personal information is explained in our privacy policy and cookie policy.
Law and jurisdiction
Israeli law governs these terms and our relationship with you, and the competent courts in Israel have jurisdiction. This does not take away any consumer right that cannot be waived, or mandatory rules that apply to the stay in the destination country.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. A new version applies to bookings made from the day it is published; a booking already confirmed stays under the terms given to you with its confirmation, unless you agree to a change or the law requires otherwise.
