Villa Thalia

Villa Thalia is a 210 m² villa with a private pool in Prinos, near Rethymno on Crete. It sleeps up to 12 guests, with 4 en-suite bedrooms and additional attic sleeping space. The house is one of 2 identical villas within a gated estate, each with its own pool and living spaces.

All 4 bedrooms have queen-size beds and their own bathrooms. On the top floor, 2 attic rooms each contain a double sofa bed for additional guests. Bright living spaces, modern furnishings and a fully equipped kitchen make it easy to cook and spend time at home. There is an indoor dining table, a fireplace and a desk.

The private swimming pool has an integrated plunge section, with sun loungers and umbrellas around it. A barbecue and outdoor dining area give the group somewhere to gather for meals, while a private balcony or terrace adds further outdoor space. Views take in the mountains, garden and pool. Pool heating is available for an additional charge.

Practical features include individually controlled air conditioning, soundproof windows, free Wi-Fi, satellite or cable television, a Bluetooth speaker and a stereo with a CD player. There is a refrigerator and coffee-making equipment, along with guest laundry facilities, an iron and ironing board, a safe, wardrobes, a hairdryer, toiletries, towels and pool towels. A cot and high chair are listed among the facilities, and private parking is available on site.

The quiet Prinos setting suits a stay that combines time at the house with outings around the Rethymno area.

• Heating the pool up to 27°C costs €250 for the first 3 full days, then €80 for each additional day.
• A refundable €400 damage deposit is payable in cash at check-in. It is returned on departure after inspection, provided there is no damage or need for excessive cleaning.
