Ianthe Sky House is a villa for four guests on the first floor and the roof of a historic captain's house in Oia, Santorini. The house has been restored and listed as a Cultural Heritage Building, and its roof holds a large pool with an open view of the caldera.
The floor has two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and rain shower: one with a 1.80 m bed, the other with a 1.60 m bed. There is also a guest WC. The living room looks out over Oia, the blue domes and the Aegean, with a dining area and an equipped kitchen with a pantry beside it. The villa also has a fireplace and a private terrace.
Up on the roof are the pool, wide sunbeds, a lounge sofa and a mini bar. It is the place to watch the sunset, and a dining table can be set up for dinner on the roof.
The house team can arrange airport and port transfers, a wine tasting at the house, boat trips and massages.
The house is a Cultural Heritage Building restored in 2025. There are no steps from the road to the house entrance. Breakfast is included with every stay, with twice-daily housekeeping.
Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, with one 180 cm bed and one 160 cm bed. The rooftop infinity pool is heated year-round. Children of all ages are welcome. A cot is available on request.

The roof is why we picked this one: a large pool, sunbeds and a view of the caldera and the sunset, above a restored captain's house in the heart of Oia. It suits a couple or two couples who want afternoons by the pool and evenings out in the village.

- The villa is the first floor and the roof of the house. The ground floor is a separate 3-bedroom residence let on its own, and the whole house can also be booked for up to 16 guests.
- There is daily cleaning and an evening turndown, and a welcome drink on arrival.
- Quiet hours run from 22:00 to 08:00, and parties or events need written approval in advance. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement, and a refundable pet deposit may be asked for.
