Drios and the coast

Drios

For couples and travellers who enjoy a coastal village, tavernas and southeast beach outings

Drios takes its southeast-coast character from a small pier and a sand-and-pebble shore. Trees and cultivated plots surround the village, with tavernas beside the water. Golden Beach and Lolantonis add coastal outings, while Aspro Chorio above Drios offers a different direction for a village visit.

Consider Drios when the pier, shore and a meal nearby are enough to shape an ordinary holiday day. We would use the southeast coast as the starting point, adding inland visits when you want a change of setting rather than returning to Naoussa for every evening.

The village beach is narrow in places and widens towards the pier. Choose the actual stretch alongside the accommodation address. Compare Parikia if a larger town setting is a stronger priority.

Our tip

In Drios, compare the route to the pier and chosen shore rather than relying on a sea view. Decide between sleeping by Golden Beach and visiting it from the village.
