Kalfayan Cove is a family-owned, five-star beachfront resort in Lassi, Kefalonia. The grounds open straight onto the sand at Paliostafida Beach, where a pier extends out into the water.
Stone from the family's own quarry gives the Mediterranean buildings their character. All 97 rooms and suites face the sea. The doubles range from rooms with a shaded portico to rooms with a private garden or a terrace that opens straight into the pool. The suites have pools of their own, and the Grand Suite adds a garden.
The freshwater infinity pool follows the shoreline, with a pool bar for a drink between swims. There are 3 dining venues, an open-air amphitheatre called Phos, and a sea-facing gym with reformer Pilates. Aura Spa rounds out the wellness facilities.

Book a swim-up double and the first dip of the day is a step from your terrace, with Paliostafida Beach just beyond the resort grounds. A private-pool suite gives you your own place to swim when you feel like spending the afternoon in.

The area
Paliostafida is one of several beaches along the Lassi coast, along with Makris Gialos and Platis Gialos. The resort is close to Argostoli, Kefalonia's capital, and a short drive from the airport.
Argostoli has a lively waterfront, with a lagoon and a lighthouse nearby. Further afield, explore the caves at Melissani and Drogarati or head to the coastal villages of Assos and Fiskardo.
