What we love most about Villa Thalassa is the combination of two things you don't often find together: a private waterfront villa with its own pool and open sea views, just 15 minutes from Corfu Town. Being able to spend the day between the pool and the small beach, then head into the Old Town for dinner, is a real advantage. It's exactly the kind of place we'd choose for guests who appreciate the peace and privacy of a seaside home but still want to explore great restaurants, enjoy evenings out and experience more of Corfu beyond its beaches.

The area
Benitses, south of Corfu Town on the east coast, brings a marina, seafood tavernas and two different beach settings into a village-based holiday.
Start with the route to the marina if that is where you want dinner. For beach time, compare the small sandy strip there with the pebbly shore north of the village.
